Depending upon your needs, you can either conceal your profile from particular users or you can configure your profile to be undetectable to everybody other than friends or pals of buddies. On the other hand, if you just wish to conceal your profile when you are signed out, you can do so by deactivating your account.
Hide Profile On Facebook
1. Browse to Facebook and check in to your account.
2. Click the arrow to the right of the "House" menu and select "Privacy Settings" from the drop-down menu.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Handle Stopping" in the Blocked Individuals and Apps section.
4. Type the name or e-mail of the user you wish to hide your profile from in the "Block Users" section and then click "Block." If you are obstructing a user by name, you may be provided with a list of users with that name from which you will have to push the "Block" button next to the particular user you want to obstruct.
Conceal From Public Searches
1. Browse to Facebook and sign in to your account.
2. Click the arrow beside the "House" menu and choose "Personal privacy Settings" from the drop-down menu.
3. Click "Edit Settings" in the "How You Link" area.
4. Click the "Who can look up your profile by name or contact details?" drop-down menu and choose "Good friends of Pals" or "Friends" to restrict the individuals who can see your Facebook profile. This hides your profile from showing up in public searches on Facebook or from online search engine like Google.
5. Click "Done" to conserve your settings.
Conceal When Signed Out
1. Navigate to Facebook and check in to your account.
2. Click the arrow to the right of the "Home" menu and select "Account Settings" from the drop-down menu.
3. Select the "Security" tab and after that click "Deactivate Your Account."
4. Select "This is short-term, I'll be back" then click "Confirm.".
5. Enter your Facebook password then click "Deactivate Now." You will be signed from Facebook and your profile is hidden from everyone on Facebook. Reactivate your account by signing in as typical from the Facebook web page.
