Remove Friends From Facebook, Not to sound like I'm becoming antisocial, however a lady who's on my good friends list on Facebook turns out to be quite the type of individual I don't like to associate with. Can't say more than that, however I need to "defriend" her (unfriend her?) How do I do that?

Seems like difficulty in Facebook paradise to me!

Luckily, it's remarkably simple to defriend someone on Facebook, just a few mouse clicks. First off, choose "Buddies" from the top navigational bar:.

Notification here that within the "Buddies" area, I've also chosen "Pal List". You'll wish to do that too.

Now scroll around till you discover the profile of the person in concern. It'll look approximately like this, though certainly we're not discussing the same person!

Note the link on the lower right, "Eliminate Friend". That's what you wish to choose. Click that and you'll get a confirmation dialog box:.

If you're actually sure she needs to get the proverbial boot, click "Get rid of Good friend", otherwise click on "Cancel" and they'll never ever know that they were on the very edge of the abyss.
