How To Disable Facebook - The Facebook Places security choices are set to "Buddies Just" by default, but you can pull out of the service entirely.
How To Disable Facebook
To do so follow these basic guidelines:
1. Go to your Facebook account's "Privacy Settings."
2. Click "Tailor settings" in the "Sharing on Facebook" section.
3. Under "Things I share" click the option box beside "Include me in 'Individuals Here Now' after I examine in." You have now disabled this function.

Another Places feature may enable friends to share your place-- even if you are not currently there as well as if you have currently disabled self-check-in. Pals using Places can examine you in or "tag" you at a certain location.
NOTE # - If you're checked-in on your own or by a buddy, your existence at the place shows up to anybody that either you or your friend enables, based on your good friend's and your personal privacy settings.
Your name will appear on the location's Places page, if there is one, so everyone at the area can see that you exist. If you are tagged by a good friend, your existence at the area is seen by your good friends or whoever they permit to see their posts, based on their (not your) personal privacy settings.
You should approve a check-in demand, however you are just given 2 options: "Yes" and "Not Now.".
Once again, there is a simple method to disable this function:.
1. Go to your Facebook account's "Privacy Settings.".
2. Click "Customize settings" in the "Sharing on Facebook" section.
3. Under "Things others share," locate the option "Buddies can check me into Places.".
4. Select "Disable" from the list of alternatives. You have now handicapped this function.
